You can pick it up from your local MAC store or online. It comes with a sponge but I use a powder brush to apply it evenly across my face.

Now this has nothing to do with the powder, rather my skin type.Īll in all, I think this is a good powder to have if you want a product that isn't too heavy on your skin and provides good coverage. However, after about four hours, you could easily fry an egg with the shine on my face (blotting sheets on standby!).
I can normally go a few hours without becoming too "shiny". After applying this powder, it does have a matte finish which should last for up to 8 hours. If you're a regular reader of my blog you would have seen me mention that I have oily skin, so I'm immediately drawn to products that offer a matte finish. Although I do have friends who use this powder on its own, but they have extremely clear skin. It is not as heavy as you would think it to be. It may sound a little excessive considering the fact that it is already a foundation, but it's not.
I always need to use a concealer or a liquid foundation to cover up any blemishes prior to using this powder. However, I do think that when I've used it on it's own, it doesn't provide the coverage that I'm after. As mentioned before, I am a fan of this powder and use it daily (yes I said it!).
